Our Regional Housing Crisis Hotline
The ForKids Regional Housing Crisis Hotline is the central point of contact for all persons experiencing a housing crisis throughout Greater Hampton Roads.
Through the Hotline, we connect individuals in crisis to our community’s extended network of resources for assistance and to prevent them from falling into homelessness whenever possible. The Hotline also allows us to collect an enormous amount of data about the homeless population in our region; armed with more knowledge about their specific needs, we are now better equipped to help move these families towards stability.
The Hotline now covers 14 cities in Greater Hampton Roads. The growing call volume reflects both the level of housing instability in Hampton Roads and the Hotline's growing role as a critical connector between households and hundreds of vital community resources.
